Happy? New Year: a Bumpy Winding Road into the Unknown
And out with 2019…
It’s no accident that my first-ever blog post and my last of the year both manifest road imagery. Not only am I am a creature that finds adventure in nearly every experience I have, this year has been especially epic. I’m not sure if there’s any tangible evidence, other than this website, that theCAREport is a viable business, but just like traveling changes something inside of us and we almost always return to our routine with some new perspective, I know something is coming…
Now typically, I’m not one to follow astrology or numerology as guiding principles, although I do appreciate patterns. Seeing as I’m always asking my angels and helpers to share their wisdom, I would be remiss not to pay attention to all the ways that guidance shows up to further deepen my attention. So, for those of you on a similar or adjacent spiritual path, it should come as no surprise that this past year, since I decided to “build it myself” has been lacking in any sort of schedule or routine, and no road map guiding my progress or productivity (or sleep schedules), I have been acutely, though unintentionally aware of 11’s, especially doubles and triplicate. Sometimes it seems like the only regulatory system in my mind. Infinite Love and Gratitude, Beloved Ones! I know you’re with me and that I’m on the right track.
For an empath, it’s nearly impossible to avoid the New Years buzz. Even if you’re not into the parties or the resolutions, it’s a natural time to make personal reflections of where we’ve been and where we think we’re going. Finishing the 2nd decade of a new Millenia. The end of the teens— 1, for new beginnings, and 9, a finisher—has the characteristic of a more global or maturing consciousness. We’re ending a decade…two, in fact… and we are past the point of no return in our transition into the roaring 20s, a number that carries the vibration of Infinite Potential.
Is it any wonder that things are feeling stirred up right now? I find myself (or is the world?) feeling heavy and triggered, it I find myself forgetting to breathe, and having to remind myself to zoom out…way out, and try to see the big picture. Because the things that are stirring are probably the things that either: a) we don’t intend to take with us into the new decade; b) is an old operating system that simply won’t be functional in my new and improved upgraded field, or; c) will be the focus of the most important lessons in the next chapter. Ready or not… here they come, and there we go!
I hope everyone is paying attention to their own, although I worry that some of the most important figures are missing some things. I think it’s important to name the things we know, so if you or a loved one is behaving in a way that’s out of character, or you notice you’re getting reflections from others that something is different, sometimes the messages that feel like losses, the difficult or unpleasant feelings that show up, especially around holiday time, may be trying to tell you something deeper about your own mind. We know that life is full of good and bad, and there are times when we must heed the ugly…without making a judgment (as much as it’s possible) and working to keep emotion separate from action (easier said than done).
Whether we realize it or not, every single one of us is getting into position for something new. Regardless of our politics, personal feelings, or the inferences we make, no matter their willingness or ability to open their hearts and minds to Trust that all the information we could ever need is out there, shaking things up, trying to illuminate the road ahead.
Personal Refletions:
This has taken on the feel of an astrology reading, which I did not intend when I started writing, nor do I claim any expertise in whatsoever.
Does any of it ring true in your own life or relationships as the year draws to an end?
Are there any experts out there who care to chime in about the vibrational or universal resonance of transitional times of change?
